Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! This little corner of the internet — That’s Where She Went — has been on my heart for a while, and this feels like the perfect place to start: with the story of how I got here.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve craved stories — through photos, words, and adventures. But my journey hasn’t been a straight line. Like most of us, I’ve had seasons of loss, growth, searching, and starting over. Losing my dad changed me. Moving away from home stretched me. Falling in love with travel and photography gave me a sense of direction when I wasn’t sure what came next. Each step, each leap, and even each stumble shaped the way I see the world. Somewhere along the way, I realized my camera was more than just a travel buddy — it was how I learned to slow down and notice the beauty around me.

So now, here we are. This blog is a mix of travel photos, stories, and little reflections from my own journey. You’ll see the world through the lens of someone who is constantly learning, chasing light, and finding beauty in the unexpected. Sometimes it’ll be a snapshot of a place that took my breath away. Other times, it’ll be the real-life behind-the-scenes — like meeting people who feel like old friends, the funny, chaotic bits of traveling solo, or the lessons that only come when you’re halfway across the world and a little lost (in the best way).
